How to set an alarm on a Classic Stereo?

You would like to set an alarm on your Classic Stereo?


Setting up an alarm on your Classic Stereo radio is very straightforward. Let’s go through the steps together, using an example.


  1. To program an alarm, first press the "Home" button and turn the "Volume/Select" dial to “Main menu”.

  2. Press the "Volume/Select" dial to open the “Main menu”, scroll to "Alarms" and confirm by pressing "Volume/Select".

  3. Select "Alarm 1" and press the "Volume/Select" dial to confirm.


This will enter the "Alarm 1" settings.

  1. Enter "Enable" to select the Alarm frequency from Off, Daily, Once, Weekends and Weekdays.

  2. Set the "Time" by turning the "Volume/Select" dial to select the hours, then press the dial to move to the minutes. Turn the dial again to set the minutes and press the dial to confirm your time settings.

  3. Select the "Mode". You can choose between Buzzer, Internet Radio, DAB, FM, or CD. Turn the dial to select your preferred source and press the dial to confirm. In Internet radio, DAB and FM mode, you can select the station last listened, or choose from your presets.

  4. Now set the "Volume" at which you wish the alarm to sound. Again, confirm your setting.

  5. Al last scroll to "Save" and confirm by pressing the “Volume/Select” dial once more to store your settings.


Active alarms will be displayed by corresponding icons. In Standby also including the set time.


When the alarm goes off:

You can snooze the alarm by pressing the "Volume/Select" dial.

Pressing the dial repeatedly will allow you to extend the snooze time. Your choices are 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes.

"Standby" will turn the alarm off completely.
