Would you like to set an alarm on your Classic H4?

Setting up an alarm on your Classic H4 radio is very straightforward. Let’s go through the steps together, using an example.

1. To activate an alarm, first press the "Home" button and turn the dial until you see “System Settings”. Press the "Select" dial to open the system menu, scroll to "Alarm" and confirm by pressing the "Select" button.

2. Select "Alarm 1" and press the "Select" dial to confirm.

3. This will open the "Alarm 1 Info""window and allow you to make your settings.

4. The "Alarm" can be turned on/off by pressing the "Select" dial.

   
   

5. To change the "Frequency", press "Select" and scroll through to available options. Pressing the "Select" dial will confirm your choice.

6. Enter "Wake Up time" by pressing the "Select" dial. Turn the dial to select the hours, then press the dial to move to the minutes. Turn the dial again to set the minutes and press the dial to confirm the time.

7. Select the alarm "Source". You can choose between DAB radio, FM radio, or a Buzzer. Turn the dial to select your preferred source and press the dial to confirm.

8. Set the "Duration". Turn the dial to select from the available.

9. Set the alarm "Volume". Turn the dial to choose the desired volume. The lowest level that can be set is 4.

After you’ve made all your settings, the alarm will be saved and ready to wake you up at the set time.

Active alarms will be displayed by corresponding icons. The standby screen will also show the alarm time.

When the alarm goes off:

You can snooze the alarm by pressing any button other than "Standby".

"Standby" will turn it off completely."
