Would you like to adjust the brightness of your Moment display?
To customise the brightness, press the "Home" button to access the main menu.
Use the "Select" dial to scroll to "Settings" and press the dial to select.
Scroll through the settings options until you find "Brightness" and press the dial to enter.
You’ll see 2 options: "On Level" and "Standby". Select "On Level" to adjust the brightness when the radio is on, and "Standby" to adjust the brightness when the radio is in standby mode. This means you can set the display to be brighter when you're actively using it and dimmer (or even off) when the radio is in standby.
Choose between “Auto: Low”, “Auto: High”, or “Manual” by turning the dial and pressing it to select.
Auto: Low – The display automatically adjusts to a lower brightness based on the ambient light, ideal when you are sensitive to light pollution.
Auto: High – The display automatically adjusts to a higher brightness, perfect ensure good readability at any time.
Manual – You can manually set the brightness to your preferred level.
An exemplary use cases:
Let’s say you want the display to be at its maximum brightness when the radio is on, and completely off when in standby:
Go to "Settings", enter "Brightness" and select "On Level".
Select "Manual".
Turn the "Select" dial to set the brightness to the highest level, and press the dial to confirm.
Go back to "Settings", enter "Brightness" and select "Standby".
Choose "Manual".
Turn the dial all the way down to the lowest setting and press the dial to confirm.
Now, your Moment radio will have the display at full brightness when in use, and the display will turn off completely when in standby after 10 seconds, ensuring no light disruption when you don’t need it.
If you want to display the time temporarily, turn the wheel and the time will be displayed for a few seconds.
And there you go! You can now easily adjust the display brightness of your Moment radio to match your environment and preferences.
