Some phones need to be positioned in a specific place for the Qi charging to be reliable.

If you do not place the phone in this position one of three things will happen:

1)    Your phone will not start charging
2)    You phone will start, then stop, then start charging again and make a beep and light up. If charging overnight and you’re a light sleeper this may wake you up
3)    Your phone will start and then stop charging. If charging overnight your battery may not be 100% charged in the morning

Below we have listed some of the most common phones on the market with images of how they are best placed on the charger.

iPhone 8

Place the iPhone 8 on Siesta Charge close to the front of the charging surface with the volume up button on the iPhone 8 lined up with the ‘Source’ key on the radio.

Samsung Galaxy S8

Place the Galaxy S8 on Siesta Charge close to the front of the charging surface with the middle of the volume button on the Galaxy S8 lined up with the ‘Source’ key on the radio.

Samsung Galaxy S8+

Place the Galaxy S8+ on Siesta Charge close to the front of the charging surface with the middle of the volume button on the Galaxy S8+ lined up with the ‘Source’ key on the radio.

Apple iPhone X

Place the iPhone X on Siesta Charge close to the front of the charging surface with the volume up button on the iPhone X lined up with the ‘Source’ key on the radio.

Apple iPhone XR

Place the iPhone XR centrally on the charging surface.

iPhone 8 Plus

Place the iPhone 8 Plus on Siesta Charge close to the front of the charging surface with the volume up button on the iPhone 8 Plus lined up with the ‘Source’ key on the radio.
