Want to adjust the brightness of the display on your Classic H6?

1. To adjust the display brightness, press the ‘Home’ button to access the main menu.

2. Use the selection wheel to scroll to ‘System Settings’ and press the wheel to confirm.

3. Scroll through the settings options until you find ‘Backlight’ and press the dial to confirm your selection.

4. Three options will be displayed: ‘Timeout’, ‘On Level’ and ‘Dim Level’.

5. elect ‘Timeout’ to set the duration until the display brightness changes from ‘On Level’ to ‘Dim Level’.

6. Select ‘On Level’ to set the brightness when the radio is turned on, and ‘Dim Level’ to set the brightness of the display when the radio switches to dim mode. This means you can set the display to be brighter when you are actively using it, or darker (or even off). The ‘Dim Level’ also affects the display when the radio is in standby mode.
