How to listen to Internet radio and select stations?

You want to listen to Internet radio and select different stations?


  1. To switch to Internet radio mode, simply tap the ‘Source’ button on your Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i to open the selection window.

  2. Repeatedly press the ‘Source’ button or turn the ‘Select’ wheel to cycle through the available sources.

  3. To confirm your selection, press the ‘Select’ knob.

  4. You can use the ‘Browse’ option to filter Internet radio stations according to the following criteria.

  • Local radio

  • Globe most popular

  • Globe all

  • Globe by genre

  • Globe by region

Use these filters to find stations by popularity, genre or region.

  1. Turn the ‘Select’ knob to scroll through the categories and press it to confirm.

  2. To return to the previous menu, press the ‘Back’ home button.


Another option to find specific channels is the ‘Search’ function

  1. To start a search, highlight ‘Search’ and press the selection wheel.

  2. Select a search method to search for a specific channel.

  • Contains’ - Finds stations with the text you entered somewhere in the name.

  • Begins with’ - Shows stations that start with your input.

  • Ends with’ - Shows stations that end with your input.

  • Search history’ - Access previously searched stations.

When you find a match, highlight the desired station and press the ‘Select’ button to select it. The radio will start streaming.

To return to the search results, turn the selection dial. If no hits are found, press the ‘Home ’(Back) button to return to the search screen.


You can use the search history to quickly access previously searched channels.

Select ‘Search history’ to view previous searches. Mark a previous search with the selection wheel and press it to repeat the search.


History

To find recently played stations, mark ‘History’ with the ‘Select’ dial and press to confirm and display your listening history.

You can now browse through the list and select a previously listened to station.
