You would like to set an alarm on your Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i?

Setting up an alarm clock on your Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i radio is very straightforward.

Let's go through the steps together using an example.

  1. To activate an alarm clock, first press the ‘Timer’ button.

  2. The display changes to the timer/alarm clock display.

  3. Use the ‘Select’ control to select the alarm function and confirm this by pressing the ‘Select’ control.

  4. Select ‘ Alarm clock 1’ and confirm your selection with the ‘Select’ dial.

  5. The ‘Alarm clock 1’ window will then open. The alarm clock can be switched on/off at this point.

If the alarm clock is switched on, another window opens in which the settings are made.

  1. First enter the ‘Alarm time’ by pressing the ‘Select’ control. Turn the knob to select the hours and then press the knob to move to the minutes. Turn the control again to set the minutes and press the control to confirm the time.

  2. You can set the source for the alarm clock in the ‘Sound’ setting. You can choose between ‘Alarm sound’, ‘My favourites’, ‘FM radio’ and ‘DAB radio’.

  3. Turn the ‘Select’ control to choose the desired source and press the control to confirm.

  4. To change the ‘Repeat’, press ‘Select’ and scroll through the available options. Press the ‘Select’ control to confirm your choice.

  5. Set the ‘Alarm volume’ of the alarm clock. Turn the control to set the desired volume. The lowest level that can be set is 3%.

  6. Now set the ‘Duration’. Turn the knob to select from the available ones.

Once you have made all the settings, the alarm clock is saved and is ready to wake you up at the set time.

Active alarms are displayed with corresponding symbols.

When the alarm goes off:

  1. You can snooze the alarm by pressing the ‘Select’ dial.

  2. Pressing the ‘Home’ button will open the playback window.

  3. Any other button switches the alarm off and puts the Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i into standby mode.
