You would like to adjust the brightness of the display on your Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i?

To adjust the brightness of the display,

1. press the ‘Home’ button to call up the ‘Configuration’.

2. Use the ‘Select’ dial to scroll to ‘Display brightness’ and press ‘Select’ to confirm.

3. Select ‘Dim brightness’ and choose ‘Yes’ to activate the dimming function

4. Enter ‘Brightness levels’ for the different operating modes.

5. Select ‘On level’ to adjust the display brightness when the unit is switched on (min. 20%).

6. Set the ‘Dim level’ to set the brightness of the display when the radio enters dim mode automatically (after approx. 20 seconds). This means that you can set the display so that it is brighter when you are actively using it, or darker (or even switched off) when it is dimmed.

7. The ‘Standby’ setting sets the display brightness level when the unit enters standby mode.
