How to set up my new Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i?

You would like to get your new Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i setup and connected to the internet?


  1. After you have connected the supplied power adapter to a power source and connected it to your Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i, the telescopic aerial has been extended, now switch on the radio by pressing the ‘Standby’ button.

  2. Select your preferred language by turning the ‘Select’ knob.

  3. Press the knob to confirm your selection.

  4. Now set your time zone. First select the region, followed by a city within the region. Here, too, the selection is made using the ‘Select’ control, which is confirmed by pressing the control.

  5. To connect your Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i to your Wi-Fi network, confirm with ‘Yes’ when you are asked if you want to ‘Configure the network’.

  6. You can choose between the connection methods Scan & Select and WPS pairing.

  7. With Scan & Select, all available networks within range of your Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i are first searched for.

  8. Select your network from the list and confirm your selection with the ‘Select’ button.

  9. In the next step, you will be asked to enter your password.

  10. Use the ‘Select’ control to select the characters and confirm them one by one by pressing the ‘Select’ control.

  11. Once you have entered your password completely, move the cursor to ‘OK’ and confirm this again with the ‘Select’ control.


  1. If your router has a WPS button, you can also set up the connection using ‘WPS pairing’.

  2. After pressing the WPS button, your Classic H4i/Classic C-D6i should automatically connect to your network.

  3. If the WPS pairing fails, try again or use the Scan and Select method to set up the connection manually.

  4. You can use the country and region selection to customise the list of Internet radio stations to your location.
