Would you like to adjust the display brightness on your Bloom?

With the Bloom, you can adjust the display brightness individually for both battery and mains power modes.

1. To adjust the display brightness, press the Menu button (B).

2. Turn the volume control (A) to select ‘Settings’ and press it to confirm your selection.

3. Use the volume control (A) to scroll through the settings options until you reach ‘Brightness’. Press the control (A) to confirm your selection.

4. Now select ‘Mains’ or ‘Battery’ to adjust the respective settings.

For each operating mode, you’ll see three setting options: ‘Dimming after’, ‘In use’ and ‘Dimmer brightness’.

1. Select ‘Dimming after’ to set the duration before the display brightness changes from ‘In use’ to ‘Dimmer brightness’.

2. Select ‘In use’ to set the brightness level when the radio is switched on, and ‘Dimmer brightness’ to set the display brightness when the radio switches to dimmer mode.

The dimmer setting also affects the display when the radio is ‘Plugged in’ and in standby mode.

To save energy, the display is disabled when the radio is running on battery power.
