iPod/ MP3 player sounds distorted when connected through the 'Aux In' on my radio.

The volume of your external music or MP3 player may be set too high which can cause distortion during playback. Turn the volume of your player down slightly until you can no longer hear distortion during playback. You may also want to try disabling any equalizer or 'effects' settings on your external player.
