How to set an alarm on a Classic C-D6?

Would you like to set an alarm on your Classic C-D6?


Setting up an alarm on your Classic C-D6 radio is very straightforward. Let’s go through the steps together, using an example.

  1. To activate an alarm, first press the "Home" button and turn the dial until you see “System”.

  2. Press the "Select" dial to open the system menu, scroll to "Alarm" and confirm by pressing the "Select" button.

  3. Select "Alarm 1 Setup" and press the "Select" dial to confirm.


This will activate the "Alarm 1 Wizard".

  1. Set the "On time" by turning the dial to select the hours, then press the dial to move to the minutes. Turn the dial again to set the minutes and press the dial to confirm the time.

  2. Choose the "Duration" of the alarm by turning the dial to select from the available. Press the dial to confirm.

  3. Select the "Source" You can choose between DAB radio, FM radio, or a Buzzer. Turn the dial to select your preferred source and press the dial to confirm. In DAB and FM mode, the station last listened will be selected.

  4. In the "Cycle" selection you can choose from Once, Weekend, Weekdays and Daily. Confirm by pressing the dial.

  5. Now set the "Volume" at which you wish the alarm to sound. Again, confirm your setting.

  6. The "Alarm" can be turned on/off by turning the "Select" dial. Press the dial to confirm.


Active alarms will be displayed by corresponding icons.


When the alarm goes off:

You can snooze the alarm by pressing any button other than "Standby".

"Standby" will turn the alarm off completely.
