Why does my receiver switch off?

Authors list

For use with vehicles that do not have a switch power supply (power socket never switches off) Highway will automatically power off to ensure the vehicle’s battery is saved over extended periods of non-use.

Certain models of vehicles have 12V power sockets that provide constant power.  Other models have 12V power sockets that are only active when the ignition keys are present. For vehicles with constant power, Highway is designed to automatically turn off to protect the vehicle battery for situations where the vehicle is left unused for an extended period of time.

Note: The auto standby time out can be changed in settings.
