Why is the DAB signal out of sync with an FM signal?
You will notice that running a digital radio alongside a conventional analogue radio may result in an 'echoing' effect. This slight delay is caused by the length of time it takes to encode the DAB signal at broadcast and then decode the signal via the radio. You may also notice differing levels of delay time depending on the station and bit rate you’re listening too.
You may notice that some Pure radios that utilize our 'ReVu' feature like the EVOKE-3, Bug and the Legato may have increased delays in playback when compared to analogue radios due to the broadcast needing to be buffered through internal memory to allow 'pause' and 'rewind'.
