You want to connect a USB Flash drive to a Classic Stereo, Classic C-D6 or Classic H4?
The Classic Stereo offers you the most comfortable handling with USB playback
Select the "Music Player" as the source if you wish to play back MP3 files from a connected USB flash drive.
Enter "USB playback" to choose the folder.
Use the "Up" and "Down" keys on the remote control to select different folders or access the different folders by scrolling through the available, using the "Select" dial.
Confirm your choice by pressing the "Select" dial on the unit, or the "Select" button on your remote.
The track title will be displayed, providing the ID3 tag information is available.
Track title, artist, album, folder, path, bitrate, codec, sampling frequency, as well as playback buffer information can also be viewed by pressing the "Info" button on the remote control repeatedly.
Pressing the "Select" dial on the unit or the "Select" button on the remote during playback will activate the playback options repeat one, repeat all or random playback.
Classic C-D6, all you need to enjoy USB playback
MP3 files can be played back from USB flash drives.
The Classic C-D6 supports a folder structure.
Use the "Up" and "Down" keys on the remote control to select different folders or access the different folders by scrolling through the tracks using the "Select" dial.
Track title, author and album information will be displayed, providing the ID3 tag information is available. These can also be selected by pressing the "Info" button on the remote control or by long pressing the "Home" button on the unit.
Pressing the "Select" dial on the unit or the "Select" button on the remote will activate the playback options repeat one, repeat all or random playback.
The Classic H4 – Kept simple, but functional
To play MP3 files from USB flash drives, the files need to be stored in either the root level, the first or second folder level of the drive.
The Classic H4 does not support a folder structure. All tracks stored in the root, first or second folder levels will be displayed as a total number of tracks.
By long pressing the "Home" button on the unit, you can display the track title. Artist and album are currently not supported.
Pressing the "Select" dial on the unit will activate the playback options repeat one, repeat all or random playback.
To summarise, it can be said that the Classic Stereo is really designed for playing USB files and offers the most comprehensive user-friendliness and functionality.
While the Classic C-D6 still supports a folder structure (without titles), the functions of the H4 are only designed for playing titles on a USB drive. Its functions are reduced to a minimum.
We realise that some of you may be disappointed that the feature set of these two models is not at the same level as the Classic Stereo and we take your feedback seriously.
However, adding more functions or features is always a trade-off between these and the resulting additional cost.
Our main aim with these two models was to offer great sound in a stylish yet very affordable package.
